Wonderings around Bruges & Ghent
I recently spent a week in Belgium with the family and good friends. It was a lovely week with good weather and relaxation. During the week I made time to spend a couple of hours wondering around Bruges and Ghent on my own to see what I could capture. I love the simplicity of photography like this, to some extent it is how I started and why I became a photographer in the first place. No real agenda other than capture life on the street and in good light.
It is a far cry from the trolly load of equipment on some commercial jobs! But the beauty of the job is the variety it brings and the places it takes you. If you haven’t been to Belgium I’d highly recommend it, it is a underrated country that has loads to offer.
